The 10th evening “Vernissage of the Arts at the Ambassador. Fabio Mastrangelo Invites You”Hotel Anniversary Concert

On September 13, 2010 Ambassador Hotel celebrated its five years in business with the new season of Arts Vernissage in Ambassador Series, which started with the recital of Fabio Mastrangelo. The program included performances by Fabio Mastrangelo, and soloist of the Rome National Theater Daniela Scillaci and Simone Piazolla.

The press conference on the anniversary celebration preceded the concert event. In five years Ambassador Hotel earned a special place in the life of St. Petersburg. The hotel took an active part in social, economic and cultural life of the city, welcoming a total of more than 330,000 guests from almost 100 countries of the world. The hotel served as a venue of many socially significant projects, including the popular Baltic Meetings in Ambassador series, co-sponsored by the Hotel and the St. Petersburg City Committee for External Relations.

Ambassador Hotel received congratulatory messages from numerous St. Petersburg dignitiaries. The hotel was awarded commendations and letters of appreciation from the St. Petersburg City Committee for External Relations, the City Legislative Assembly, the Office of the Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs in St. Petersburg, the Northwestern Section of the Russian Union of Tourism Industry and other organizations. Video messages were recorded by Deputy V. S. Yagya of the Legislative Assembly, Director of Music Comedy Theater and First Deputy Artistic Director and Mariinsky Theater Director Y. A. Schwarzkopf, Director of the Department of Industry and Infrastructure of the Russian Federation Government M. Y. Sokolov, People’s Artist of Russia and Director of St. Isaac’s Cathedral State Museum and Monument V. N. Burov, and People’s Artist of Russia E. A. Bystritskaya, who offered their congratulations and wished the hotel further successes.

The concert completed with a banquet reception where the guests sampled an Arabian dish prepared in accordance with the recipe provided by A. V. Sharapov, General Director of Ambassador Hotel.
