Vernissage of the Arts at the Ambassador. An Invitation From Fabio Mastrangelo

On the 26th April 2010 the eighth "Vernissage of the Arts at the Ambassador. An Invitation From Fabio Mastrangelo" evening was held at the Ambassador Hotel.

The evening's entertainment was provided by: People's Artist of Russia, President of the Fund for musical, theatrical and artistic development "Centre for Modern Art" Konstantin Pluzhnikov and People's Artist of Russia and soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Yulia Makhalina. Konstantin Pluzhnikov performed old romances and Yulia Makhalina performed a fragment from the show The Way.

The Centre for Modern Art presented young performers. The Matthaeus String Quartet, Ivan Sapunov, a student of Konstantin Pluzhnikov, a seventh grade student from the St. Petersburg Rimsky Korsakov Conservatory musical school Anastasia Golovina and a first grade pupil from the children's musical school Alexander Bolotin also performed.

During the evening the presentation of a book from the Centre for Modern Art was held called Angiolina Bozio. The Piedmont Swallow, which was published in March of this year.

An exhibition of the paintings of the artist Anatoly Annenkov was organised. The painting "The Dancer", which portrays Yulia Makhalina, was presented to the ballerina.

It is a tradition for the evening's participants to share a culinary recipe. The Evening's signature dish was Mussels in a Tomato and Garlic Sauce, cooked by Konstantin Pluzhnikov following an Italian recipe.

The evening concluded with a festive buffet.
