On September 15, the premiere of the project «Vernissage of the Arts at the «Ambassador». Fabio Mastrangelo Invites You» was held at the hotel «Ambassador».

Fabio Mastrangelo is the main conductor at the State Opera Theater in Ekaterinburg, the main invited conductor at the Novosibirsk Academic Symphonic Orchestra, the State Symphonic Orchestra of Tatarstan, the orchestra of the State Hermitage, the artistic director of the soloist ensemble «Novosibirsk Camerata», and a regularly invited conductor at the Mariinsky Theater and the St. Petersburg State Theater of Musical Comedy.

The program for the first evening saw performances by a young Italian opera singer from the National Theater of Rome, the Malibran Theater in Venice and the Piccini Theater in Bari, Daniela Schillaci, and guests from Ekaterinburg, international prize-winning soprano Ekaterina Neizhmak and tenor Vladimir Cheberyak. The salon's ebullient host also served as pianist, in addition to a quick-witted and gracious host for the evening. The guests included actors, politicians, diplomats, businessmen, musicians and producers.

The guests were awed the whole evening by brilliantly performed arias from «Tosca», «The Marriage of Figaro», «The Queen of Spades», «Pagliacci», and «Madame Butterfly».

At the end of the evening, the St. Petersburg governor's cultural advisor, V.P. Akulov, congratulated Fabio Mastrangelo on his new position as main conductor of the Ekaterinburg State Theater of Opera and Ballet.

The event was concluded with a celebratory drink reception.
