1. Ambassador Hotel Welcomes Founding International Forum on New Mechanisms of Cultural Cooperation of Nordic Countries

On May 20, 2010 Ambassador Hotel welcomed the International Forum on New Mechanisms of Cultural Cooperation of Nordic Countries. The event was organized by the Council of Ministers of Nordic Countries in cooperation with the Government of St. Petersburg.

A memorandum on creating a Cultural Partnership of the Northern Dimension was signed at the forum by representatives of EU nations, Russia, Norway, and Iceland. The Cultural Partnership project is the fourth regional project within this framework, following in the steps of similar partnerships in the sphere of ecology, social policy, and transport/logistics.
