Fabio Mastrangelo is the main conductor at the State Opera Theater in Ekaterinburg, the main invited conductor at the Novosibirsk Academic Symphonic Orchestra, the State Symphonic Orchestra of Tatarstan, the orchestra of the State Hermitage, the artistic director of the soloist ensemble «Novosibirsk Camerata,» and a regularly invited conductor at the Mariinsky Theater and the St. Petersburg State Theater of Musical Comedy. He could be said to be the most well-known Italian on the contemporary Russian musical scene. The basic idea of the project is to continue the traditions of St. Petersburg's musical salons and lounges, which will be accompanied by exhibitions of works of art. The gatherings will take place monthly and each one will be dedicated to a specific theme.

Performances at these evenings will be made by the musicians from the Main Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Mariinsky Theater, the Ekaterinburg State Theater of Opera and Ballet, as well as Italian soloists.

The opening of the season of musical evenings will take place this September.
