Michel Legrand at the hotel «Ambassador»

From July 1 to 3, 2009, the hotel «Ambassador» hosted the famous French composer Michel Legrand. Legrand attended the Russian premiere of the musical “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg” at the invitation of the artistic director of the Karambol St. Petersburg State Musical Theater, Irina Brondz.

On the eve of the premiere a press conference was held at the «Ambassador» with the Karambol Theater actors participating in the performance.

After the premiere a celebratory drink reception was held at the “Le Vernissage” restaurant at the hotel. Michel Legrand was given a painting made by Vitali Kasatkin specially for Legrand's arrival.
